PDFs should follow the FEWS NET file naming convention of YYYYMMDD FEWS NET Short Title. The short title should include the ISO alpha-2 country code, report abbreviation, and language code (if not English). Example PDF file names are below.

Only use the following steps when posting an M&T report, FAOB, Targeted Analysis, Special Report, Southern Africa Seasonal Monitor or Global Weather Hazards. When uploading a PDF for a Pashto or Dari translation of an Afghanistan report, refer to the guidance here.

Ensure your final PDF has been fully 508-ed and run through CommonLook.

Create a new report and complete the selections on the Metadata tab.

Click on the Media tab.

Under the PDF Version section click the Add media button.

Click Choose File > select the final report PDF from your document library > Open.

Check that the selection under Language matches the report language. Otherwise, select the correct language from the drop-down menu and click Save.

Add content to the webpage for certain reports only. General guidance is as follows:

Price Watch: Add Key Messages.

Special and Targeted Analysis reports: Add Key Messages, Section Titles, Section Content, Images or Visualizations.

FAOB, Global Weather Hazards, or Southern Africa Seasonal Monitor: Do not add report content.

If you are adding some, but not all, of the report content to the webpage, include the following sentence at the end of the webpage content: To view the full report as a PDF, click Download Report from the lefthand sidebar.

Add an automatic citation if you are adding page content.
