The latest release to the FEWS NET Data Explorer makes it easier to find relevant resources through a redesigned home page, added policy links on the sign-in screen, and updated breadcrumb trails on topic pages. We’ve also fixed a bug where the FEWS NET ID (FNID) was not included in all Data Point extracts.

Bug fixes
FNIDs in data extracts
FEWS NET IDs (FNIDs), which provide a unique identification number to every Geographic Unit, were not included in some data extracts, including for Acute Food Insecurity Classifications in FDE. FNIDs are now included in all Data Points extracts, allowing you to match tabular data to Geographic Unit extracts for analysis.
