The Commodity Import Export Annual Bar Chart displays a bar chart of annual exports or imports for a specific country and product.
Creating an Import Export Annual Bar Chart
Use the following guidelines to create and modify an Import Export Annual Bar Chart.
1. Select primary parameters
Data selection fields
Choose data using both of the following fields:

Data source organization: Use the search box to search for a Source Organization by name.

Product or group: Use the search box to search for a product or product group (e.g., maize/corn) by name.
Country fields
Either an import or export country is required. You may select both.

Importing country: Country importing the selected product.

Exporting country: Country exporting the selected product.
Click Generate to view the chart.
2. Select filters
Selecting filters is optional. Choose from any of the following options:

Flow type: Filter by the flow type of the trade, i.e., Export, Import, Re-export, or Transit.

Trade type: Filter by the type of trade, i.e., Formal or Informal.
Click Update chart to apply the filters.
Saving the Visualization
After generating the Commodity Import Export Annual Bar Chart, you can save it to your account for future reference using the Save Visualization button in the upper right side of the page. Enter a Title and Description in the popup and click Save Visualization.
You can access saved Visualizations from the Saved Visualizations tab.
Interacting with the Import Export Annual Bar Chart
You can interact with the Import Export Annual Bar Chart in the following ways:

Hover over a bar to view details.

Click on a legend item to hide the corresponding data series.

Click the Download icon to the right of the Visualization title to access the following options:

View in full screen: Opens the chart in full screen.

Print chart: Opens the options to print the chart.

Download PNG: Downloads the current selection from the timeline as a static image PNG file with FEWS NET and USG logos.

Download CSV: Downloads the data used for the Visualization as a CSV file.
-
Download XLS: Downloads the data used for the Visualization as a XLS file.

View data table: Displays the data used for the Visualization as a table under the legend.

Click the Copy icon to the right of the Visualization title to copy the Visualization URL. The link can be used to open the data Visualization in a new tab or window, and the parameters can be added or edited directly within the URL.
