The Combined Current Historic Price Comparison Charts displays a number of charts of commodity prices, one per CPC V2 code.
Creating Combined Current Historic Price Comparison Charts
Use the following guidelines to create and modify Combined Current Historic Price Comparison Charts.
1. Select primary parameters
Data: Choose data to display on the charts by selecting Data Series or a Dataset.

Select Data Series: Select one or more Data Series. Filter the dropdown using search keywords such as the product and/or market. For example, “Bulawayo millet” will bring up Data Series for millet prices in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Select Dataset: Select a Dataset. You can search from the dropdown by the Dataset name or ID number.
Geography: Choose one or more of the following options:

Select a country: Select the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 two letter code to build a Visualization for a country.

Select a geographic group: Select the FEWS NET country group code to build a Visualization for a region. A list of country group codes can be pulled from the FEWS NET API.
Click Generate to view the chart.
2. Select filters
Selecting filters is optional. Choose from any of the following options:
Period date: Enter a start date as the first day of the month to limit the time span of the data included.
Click Update chart to apply the filters.
3. Select advanced parameters
Selecting advanced parameters is optional. Choose from any of the following options:
Select historic range: Choose whether you want to compare prices to a 2-year or 5-year average. If not selected, this will default to the option with the greatest number of data points. If they number of data points is the same, it will default to 5-year average.
Select a common currency: Specify a common currency for the charts. The values for any selected data series in a different currency are converted to the common currency. The default common currency is USD.
Click Update to apply the advanced parameters.
Saving the Visualization
After generating the Selectable Current Historic Price Comparison Charts, you can save it to your account for future reference using the Save Visualization button in the upper right side of the page. Enter a Title and Description in the popup and click Save Visualization.
You can access saved Visualizations from the Saved Visualizations tab.
Interacting with the Combined Current Historic Price Comparison Charts
You can interact with the Combined Current Historic Price Comparison Charts in the following ways:

Hover over a point on the chart to view more details.

Single click on a legend item to exclude it from the chart. Click again to add the legend item back.

Click the Download icon to the right of the Visualization title to access the following options:

View in full screen: Opens the charts in full screen.

Print chart: Opens the print options for the chart.

Download PNG: Downloads the current selection from the timeline as a static image PNG file with FEWS NET and USG logos.

Download CSV: Downloads the data used for the Visualization as a CSV file.

Download XLS: Downloads the data used for the Visualization as a XLS file.

View data table: Displays the data used for the Visualization next to the chart.

Click the Copy icon to the right of the Visualization title to copy the Visualization URL. The link can be used to open the data Visualization in a new tab or window, and the parameters can be added or edited directly within the URL.

Use the button in the top header to copy the URL for the entire multi-chart Visualization.

Use the button in the header of an individual chart to copy the URL for that chart only.
