May 14, 2024 Release Notes

The following tasks for the FEWS NET website are included in the Sprint 52 release.

The previous implementation of Search was removed to address security vulnerabilities through the following tickets:

  • Remove previous search implementation (FNW-1602)

  • Switch from Apache Tika to Solr extractor for PDF indexing (FNW-1508)
